由马凯编剧、执导，易小星监制的惊悚喜剧电影《了不起的夜晚》发布一款IMAX版专属海报，宣布影片即将于3月31日同步登陆全国794家IMAX影院。《了不起的夜晚》也成为IMAX与华语惊悚喜剧类型的首度合作，影片由范丞丞、蒋龙、蒋易、王子璇领街主演，梁龙特别出演，孔连顺、蒋诗萌、甘昀宸、许馨文、梦涵、齐羽嘉主演，新颖青春的“三界喜剧人”大银幕团建，将通过IMAX高水准的视听品质，让观众身临其境感受“惊悚片拍摄现场”的独特沉浸感。四月底，Netflix与周星驰合作的动画电影《美猴王》剧照曝光后，中国网友对其“美猴王”造型并不认可，但中国电影艺术研究中心电影史学研究部副主任、研究员李镇认为，Netflix对“美猴王”形象的再利用应该让我们意识到对IP开发的重要性，电影创作者应该自觉地在中华文化中找寻可再开发的文化内容。
